In this hands-on workshop you will learn to write compelling and lively grant applications to fund your writing projects. You will discover how to research funding, decode application questions, and let the grant writing process focus writing goals. You will also find out how to enlist colleagues and friends to help write a successful proposal and leave knowing whether grant writing is the best use of your time or if you would be better off continuing to build a body of work.
Gigi Rosenberg is the author of The Artist’s Guide to Grant Writing: How to Find Funds and Write Foolproof Proposals for the Visual, Literary, and Performing Artist (Random House, 2010). This book grew out of her professional development workshops taught in Portland, Chicago, New York, and throughout the Pacific Northwest. Rosenberg’s writing has been published by Seal Press, The Oregonian, Jewish Review, Parenting, and Writer’s Digest. She also performs dramatic monologues and has been featured on Oregon Public Broadcasting.
